UC Davis Dining Commons Davis, CA

These two paintings are installed on adjacent walls at the entrance and exit of the food service area within the CoHo at UC Davis Dining Commons in the North Quad. The works explore themes of sustainable agriculture and water reuse in California, while reflecting the shared experience of gathering as a community around food. Commissioned by the UC Davis Chancellor’s Office, the paintings are designed to create a visually engaging environment that fosters a sense of comfort, inclusivity, and belonging through diverse and community-centered imagery.
